Krista has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. She obtained her BA in Classical Animation at the renowned Sheridan College in Oakville Ont. Canada. Upon graduating, Krista worked for a year in local animation houses in the province, until she was recruited by the Walt Disney Company in 1995. She then went on to do an intensive internship at the Florida Studio of the Walt Disney Company where she enhanced her skills in character clean-up, storyboarding, color and story importance, with an emphasis on animation. After her internship, Krista was hired full time and went on to work for the WDFA Florida Studio for the next decade. Krista's screen credits during this time include the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan, Atlantis, Lilo and Stitch, Brother Bear as well as various parks work and shorts such as The California Adventures and The Roger Rabbit Short.

After the WDFA Florida Studio closed in 2004, Krista and her artist husband chose to move closer to their family. They currently live in the midwest with their two children and puppy Buster.  Krista continues to illustrate full time; licensing artwork, designing stamps for Whimsy Stamps as well as her Etsy Shop.  She keeps busy working on various contract work ranging from illustration, to character design and storyboarding.

Krista's love remains in drawing characters and conveying joy and action in every scene.
